- Ululanis - do not mess with any other shave ice - north end of Kihei - get icecream and hoopia
- The bakery next to it has good masubi
- walk south from where you are all the way to the shops at wailea -
- food and snacks there from the Island Gourmet Market (fancier ABC)
- if you go through the hotels to the grand wailea they have a canteen there LOULU that is nice. will make burgers to order, pizza, breakfast bowls etc
- Honolulu coffee has good but expensive açaí bowls
- WowWow Lemonade - mid Kihei good drinks and açaí for the kids
- Kihei caffe- pancakes and such
- 808 deli - sandwiches
- Fave thai place (seems odd but trust me): Maui Thai Bistro - order and take out or eat in - braised beef panang with macadamia nut curry! fried rice etc
- Nalu south shore grill - good Hawaiian fare for bfast and lunch in kihei - use the garlic chilli vinegar!!!
- South shore grindz - plate lunch (closed)

- Maui swap meet - every saturday am in kahalui for fresh fruit, veg, and food trucks
- There is a smaller hipper market in wailea on tuesday am - https://waileavillagefarmersma.... it's a 10min event for you so only go as a jump off to something else around there.
- my favorite thing to do is walk the private beach from my parents place up through the fancy homes then the hotels for as far as you want stop for food in at wailea shops and then back with a dip on the return. 5miles round trip or more if you want.
· Also highly recommend the Market in Wailea… deli right under MonkeyPod restaurant in upper mall in Wailea. Best to call ahead because they can get busy around noon. All their sandwiches seem exceptional.
· Another recent find is a pop up Taco truck just south of Shaka Pizza and across from the north end of Kuikui Mall just north of the Kihei Firehall. Guadalajara Tacos… mahi fish tacos; adobado mulita; pollo burrito; horchata drink… super authentic.
· Also top three status for Pita Paradise just across parking lot from MonkeyPod in upper mall in Wailea. Amazing fresh catch every day…. Owner is a legit local fisherman so you can’t get better ingredients from our experience
